Cheesy Corn and Spinach Sandwich | Grilled Corn and Spinach Sandwich | Recipe No. 72

Corn and Spinach is a Wonderful combination. You can make variety of recipes from it like different Curries, Snacks, Sandwiches, Stuffed Paranthas, Pastas etc. Today I am going to share with you a recipe of Cheesy Corn and Spinach Sandwich.

Cheesy corn and spinach sandwich is a grilled sandwich, creamy in texture filled with sweet corn and spinach filling. The process to make this sandwich is easy and quick. As it involve cheese, kids going to love this sandwich. You can also pack this sandwich in their Lunch Box.

Quantity of cheese can be adjusted according to your taste. As I love cheese a lot that’s why I have added more quantity of it. If you want to make it healthy you can avoid it also. As butter is used in this recipe, it will give nice creamy texture to the white sauce.

Servings – 10 Sandwiches


  1. Blanched and Chopped Spinach Leaves – 30
  2. Sweet Corn Kernels – ½ Cup
  3. Butter – 2 Tbsp.
  4. All Purpose Flour – 2 Tbsp.
  5. Grated Processed Cheese – 1 Cup
  6. Milk – 1 Cup
  7. Salt to Taste
  8. Black Pepper Powder to Taste
  9. Oregano – 1 Tsp.
  10. White Bread Slices – 20

Equipment Used – Grill Pan


Instruction –

  1. Heat butter in a pan and add all-purpose flour and mix.
  2. Sauté it until it gets light in color.
  3. Add 1 cup milk gradually and stir continuously to avoid lumps.
  4. Add in grated cheese and mix and cook till the sauce gets thicken.
  5. Now add sweet corn kernels and chopped spinach and mix.
  6. Add in salt, black pepper powder and oregano and mix. (Use salt accordingly as we have added lot of cheese and cheese have salt)
  7. Take two bread slices at a time and spread prepared mixture on one bread and cover it with other bread.
  8. Heat grill pan and apply butter on it.
  9. Place sandwich on it and grill it from both sides.
  10. Cut Sandwich into two pieces and serve it with Tomato Ketchup.

बनाने की विधि
१. एक कड़ाई में बटर गरम करें और उसमे मैदा डालें और मिलाएं।
२. जब तक यह रंग में हल्का नहीं हो जाए तब तक पकाएं।
३. धीरे-धीरे 1 कप दूध डालें और लगातार मिलाएं ताकि कोई गिठाने नहीं बने।
४. कसा हुआ चीज़ डालें और मिलाएं और पकाएं तब तक सॉस घाड़ा नहीं हो जाता।
५. अब सॉस में स्वीट कॉर्न और पालक डालें और मिलाएं।
६. अब नमक, काली मिर्ची पाउडर और ऑरेगैनो डालें और मिलाएं (चीज़ में बहुत नमक होता हैं इसलिए उसी हिसाब से इसमें नमक डालें)
७. एक बार में दो ब्रेड स्लाइस लें और एक ब्रेड पर तैयार मिश्रण फैलाएं और इसे दूसरी ब्रेड से धक लें।
८. एक ग्रिल पैन को गरम करें और उस पर बटर लगाएं और गरम पैन पर सैंडविच रखें।
९. सैंडविच को दोनों तरफ से ग्रिल करें।
१०. सैंडविच को दो टुकड़ो में काटें और टमाटर सॉस के साथ परोसे।

Sev Puri | Sev Batata Puri | Chaat Recipe | Recipe No. 71

Sev Puri is an Indian Snack and a type of Chaat. It is a Street Food originated from Mumbai, Maharashtra but now it is popular in all over India. It consists of puris made of all-purpose flour, mashed potatoes topping and different varieties of chutney. Recipe of chutneys is already there on my blog

  1. Red Chilli Chutney
  2. Tamarind Chutney
  3. Mint and Coriander Chutney

Puris used in this recipe will give nice crunch to the chaat. In vegetables I have used potatoes and onions. You can also use tomatoes, cucumber and raw mango. Chutneys used will give sweet, tangy and spicy flavor to the chaat. You can garnish it with pomegranate seeds or beetroot julienne.

It is one of my favorite chaat. At my home we have stored store-bought papadis and nylon sev in refrigerator and whenever we want to eat we use to make it.

Ingredients –

  1. Boiled and Mashed Potatoes (Not completely mashed) – 2 Cups
  2. Red Chilli Powder – 1 Tsp.
  3. Salt to Taste
  4. Puri (All Purpose Flour Puri)
  5. Red Chilli Chutney
  6. Tamarind Chutney
  7. Mint and Coriander Chutney
  8. Finely Chopped Onions
  9. Nylon Sev


Method –

  1. Take boiled and mashed potatoes in a mixing bowl and add salt and red chilli powder and mix.
  2. Take serving plate and place 8-10 puris on it.
  3. Place ½ Tbsp. of potato masala on each puri.
  4. Top each puri with red chilli chutney, mint and coriander chutney and tamarind chutney.
  5. Now top puris with finely chopped onions
  6. Now sprinkle nylon sev on puris (use nylon sev generously)
  7. Sev Puri is ready to serve.


बनाने का तरीका
१. एक बर्तन में उबले और मसले हुए आलू ले और उसमे नमक और लाल मिर्ची डालें।
२. एक प्लेट में ८-१० पूरी रखे।
३. उन पूरी पर १/२ चमच्च आलू का मसाला रखे।
४. उस पर लाल मिर्ची की चटनी, इमली की चटनी और धनिया और पुदीने की चटनी डालें।
५. उन पर बारीक़ कटा हुआ प्याज डालें।
६. अंत मैं बारीक़ सेव डाल दे अच्छी मात्रा में और सेव पूरी परोसने के लिए तैयार हैं।

There are many types of kebab both vegetarian and non vegetarian. Rajma kebab, soya kebab, dahi ke kebab, hara bhara kebab are some of the vegetarian option.

My blogs already have a recipe of Rajma Kebab and Dahi ke Kebabs. Today I am sharing with you all recipe of Hara Bhara Kebab.

Hara bhara kebab is very easy recipe to make and delicious in taste. It is healthy also as it involves goodness of spinach and peas. These kebab are crispy from outside and soft from inside. It is very popular kebab in North India as you will find them in every North Indian Restaurant as a Starter. Instead of deep-frying, shallow fry or pan fry them. The kebab tastes better when they are made little spicy.

Serving – 15 Kebabs

Ingredients –

  1. Blanched Spinach – 1 Cup
  2. Boiled and Mashed Potatoes – 3 Cups
  3. Green Peas – 1 Cup
  4. Roughly Chopped Green Chilly – 2 – 3 Nos.
  5. Turmeric Powder – 1 Tsp.
  6. Garam Masala Powder – 2 Tbsp.
  7. Amchur Powder (Dry Mango Powder) – 2 Tsp.
  8. Roasted Gram Flour – ¼ Cup
  9. Breadcrumbs – ¼ Cup
  10. Salt – According to Taste
  11. Oil – 3Tsp. + For Pan Frying
  12. Chaat Masala
  13. Tomato Ketchup and Mint and Coriander Chutney


Instructions –

  1. Blanch spinach – boil spinach in hot water for 2-3 mins. Drain water immediately and transfer spinach into cold water. Drain cold water.
  2. Soak peas in hot water until it gets soft.
  3. Heat 3 tsp. of oil in a pan and keep the flame at medium. Add peas, spinach, salt and turmeric.
  4. Stir and cook until almost moisture is evaporated and it turns dry.
  5. Allow green vegetables to cool down completely and grind them with green chilly. Green mixture is ready.
  6. Take boiled and mashed potatoes in a mixing bowl and add in green mixture, garam masala, amchur powder, roasted gram flour, breadcrumbs, and salt.
  7. Mix all ingredients properly.
  8. Prepare kebabs and pan fry it.
  9. Sprinkle Chaat Masala on Kebabs
  10. Serve it with tomato ketchup and mint and coriander chutney.


बनाने का तरीका
१. पालक को गरम पानी में २-३ मिनट तक उबाले और फिर उसे ठंडे पानी में दाल दे और निकाल दे।
२. मटर को गरम पानी में भिगोए तब तक वो नरम नहीं हो जातें।
३. एक कड़ाई में 3 चम्मच तेल गरम करें और आंच मध्यम पर रखे। उसमे मटर, पालक, नमक और हल्दी डालें।
४. उन्हें तब तक पकाएं जब तक सारा पानी सुख नहीं जाता।
५. अब सब्जियों को ठंडा होने दे और फिर हरी मिर्ची के साथ पीस ले। हमारा हरा मिक्सचर तैयार हैं।
६. अब एक कटोरे में उबलें और मसाले हुए आलू ले और उसमे हरा मिक्सचर, गरम मसाला, अमचूर पाउडर, भुना हुआ बेसन, ब्रेडक्रम्ब्स और नमक डालें।
७ साड़ी सामग्रियों को अच्छे से मिलाएं।
८ कबाब बनाएं और उसे काम तेल में तल लें।
९ कबाब पर चाट मसाला बुरकें और सॉस और हरी चटनी के साथ परोसे।

Notes –

  1. Instead of potatoes, raw banana can also be used. There will be no change in taste.
  2. Either frozen or fresh peas can be used but boil them so that they will become soft.
  3. Spices can be adjusted according to your taste. But make it little spicy, it will taste good.
  4. If the mixture is wet or sticky, add more breadcrumbs and mix again.
  5. I have pan fried the kebabs. You can shallow fry them also.
  6. Shape and size of kebabs depends on one’s own choice.

Dahi Ke Kebabs | Curd Cutlets – Recipe No. 66

Today I am sharing with you all a recipe of creamy and soft Dahi ke Kebabs. It is basically a North Indian recipe. It is very easy and yummy recipe which requires a mixture of hung curd, some veggies and spices. Rice flour is used as a binding agent and makes kebab crispy. I have made healthy version of it by shallow frying it. It can be best served as an appetizer with green chutney or tomato ketchup.

Step – by – Step Tutorial of Dahi ke Kebab


Serving – 12-15 Kebabs

Ingredients –

  1. Hung Curd – 2 Cups
  2. Finely Chopped Capsicum – ¼ Cup
  3. Finely Chopped Cabbage – ¼ Cup
  4. Chaat Masala – 1 Tsp.
  5. Black Pepper Powder – ½ Tbsp.
  6. Salt to Taste
  7. Rice flour – 4 Tbsp.
  8. Breadcrumbs for Coating
  9. Oil for frying


Method –

  1. Take hung curd in a mixing bowl
  2. Add in finely chopped capsicum and cabbage
  3. Add in salt, chaat masala and black pepper powder.
  4. Add in rice flour and mix all ingredients properly
  5. Make kebabs from dahi mixture (shape and size of kebabs depends on you)
  6. Coat all kebabs with bread crumbs and keep them in a fridge for 15-20 mins.
  7. Now shallow fry all kebabs till both sides turn brown in color.
  8. Serve Dahi ke Kebabs with tomato ketchup and some cabbage salad.


Notes –

  1. Vegetables like onion, carrot, red and yellow bell peppers, beans can also be added.
  2. Spices can be adjusted according to your taste.
  3. Instead rice flour, gram flour can also be added.
  4. You can deep fry or shallow fry kebabs according to your choice.
  5. If the mixture sticks to your hand then add more rice flour.
  6. Apply oil on hands while making kebabs as it will not stick on hands.
